Simarouba Glauca or LAKSHMI TARU commonly known as Simarouba, Oil tree, Paradise Tree or Aceituno is a crucial tree whose bark and leaves have medicinal purposes.

Simarouba Glauca is an evergreen tree, grows up to 15 meters height with tap root system and cylindrical stem. It is a species of flowering tree that is native to Florida in the United States, southern Florida, South America, and the Lesser Antilles. Common names include Paradise Tree, Aceituno, and Bitterwood.
Any well-drained soil is suitable for its growth but good loamy soil, red loams and red laterites are preferred for better growth and productivity. LAKSHMI TARU (PARADISE TREE)
Lakshmi Taru or Simarouba is an important tree species found commonly in the forests of Central was first introduced by National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources in the Research station at Amaravati, Maharashtra in The name Lakshmi Taru was given by poojya sri sri Ravishankar Guruji. Lakshmi taru botanically identified as Simarouba glauca of family Simaroubaceae, now widely grown in Karnataka and other parts of south India. The decoction of leaves is being used as a compliment to chemotherapy which drastically improves the quality of life and even cures the cancers.
Preparation of Lakshmi Taru Kashaya
Take leaves of Lakshmi taru per 10 kg body weight. Clean it properly. Take ml of water into a stainless steel vessel and add the leaves to it. Boil the mixture in low flame until the water level reaches half the initial volume. Cover the vessel and leave it overnight. Next day morning reheat the decoction and filter it using a clean cotton cloth. Consume it in the empty stomach twice daily (morning and evening). If taken regularly cures malaria fever, diarrhea, dysentery, colitis, cancer, rheumatoid arthritis etc
