Norrviken Gardens
Norrviken is famous for its gardens in different styles, created bygd Rudolf Abelin in the early s. A visionär, inspired bygd various countries and epochs, who gave each garden its own, special character. The gardens offer experiences for all senses
Villa Abelin has a scenic location in the middle of the park. This fryst vatten the place for our store, the Orangeriet matställe and the Salamander kaffebar & dryckesställe. The exhibitions of the summer are visited here as well.
The villa accommodates conference rooms and two suites for overnight stays, named after Rudolf Abelin’s daughters Hild and behind Villa Abelin you will come across our beehives. Thousands of honeybees live there in finely crafted beehives gathered around a gazebo. The beehives are taken care of bygd Biföreningen Lilla Båstad, a beekeepers association, who assisted by the busy bees produce our own honey here at Norrviken. It can be bought in our store.
The greenhouse create many possibilities. A magic place to be fill with lovely greenery and people. There will be parties, art, company parties, music and a lot more.

Utställningar
I RAVINENs utställningssalar visas konst- och designutställningar med fokus på modern och samtida konst. Vi visar tre större utställningar per år med nationella och internationella konstnärer. I Kraitz-salen skiftar vi utställningar med verk av Ulla Kraitz och Gustav Kraitz – RAVINENs grundare.
Vår ambition är att vara inkluderande, och tillgängliggöra konst med högsta kvalité för en bred publik.
För barn och familj
Hos oss finns det mycket att uppleva för hela familjen. Välkommen att utforska utställningarna på egen hand eller tillsammans med vår pedagog vid familjevisningar. I vår skapande verkstad kan man slå sig ner och skapa egna konstverk, eller ta en paus och bläddra i en bok. Vi arrangerar också pedagogledda verkstäder, håll utkik i vår kalender.

Norrviken Gardens, located outside Båstad in Skåne, was built in the late 19th century by gardening enthusiast Rudolf Abelin. Today this is a fantastic park with a range of fascinating style gardens, a restaurant and even activities for children. A wonderful destination!

Norrviken's gardens offer beautiful environments, exotic plants and a whole range of experiences that are a delight to the eye. In the centre of the park is a beautiful house called Villa Abelin.

Gardening enthusiast Rudolf Abelin
Rudolf Abelin was born in , the only son of a family of officers. In Rudolf's circles, becoming a gardener wasn't considered fancy enough, so he started studying law, but when the opportunity arose, he dropped out and trained as a horticulturalist (plant biologist) and pomologist (tree fruit expert).
Abelin came to Båstad in , attracted by Ellen Key and his childhood friend Ludvig Nobel, and here he found the perfect place for his garden. Here he created one of the largest orchards in the Nordic countries with more than five thousand fruit trees and twice as many
